We are sorry to see it go, but we are making one last field trip to support Joy, the store, the memory of Ed, and the Staten Island comics community.
The trip is co-sponsored by the activist and mutual aid group @comixaction so expect to see some comic pros with us!
Hypnotronic Comics has a great back issues and eclectic horror themed collectibles so look out for some odd discoveries when you are there! There will be a 25% off purchases! We will also grab some food in the area to chill and talk comics.

Hypno-Tronic Comics is a small comic book and collectible shop that was opened Joy Ghigliotti and Ed Varuolo. Their goal was to create a place that was different from the large stores, with a local feel and unusual items. Their friend Artie owned a store called Krypton Comics in Midland beach, Staten Island and unfortunately, his store was wiped out by hurricane Sandy. When he decided not to reopen, they decided that they would fill the void.
